Wolves hold a memorial service for remembrance of fans who have passed away. Annual Fans Memorial Service The Annual Fans Memorial Service was introduced in response to hundreds of requests for pre-match tributes to have fans' ashes scattered at Molineux which is not now possible. Each season Wolves hold a special event at St Peter's Collegiate Church in Wolverhampton City Centre where the Club's Chaplain, the Rev David Wright, leads a service remembering loved ones who have passed away in recent years. The service takes place before a home match and fans are invited to attend and hear the names of our lost fans and Wolves legends read out to the congregation. |

/ Colin's niece contacted us to say he had passed away in September. Colin was a regular traveller by train to Molineux and always ready with a witty response. Stuart said Colin was a very diminutive guy with a huge personality and voice to match. I spoke with him only days before he passed away last month, and he gave me the usual abuse with great gusto Colin's funeral isThursday 2nd November at 11.30am at Golders Green Crematorium and then afterwards at Finchley Cricket club and London Wolves are welcome |

Stuart learned in January 2024 that his predecessor as Chiarman had passed away. Martin took over the Chairmanship of London Wolves from Bob Webb for the 1970/71 season. An early initiatives of the new committee was to announce that we would have our own Football team. It took a little longer to get established but here is Martin and that team. Martin is standing next to keeper Leo Mastbraker. Eagle-eyed members might also spot a slighlty younger Mark Feehan |
|
Stuart Earl succeded Martin as Chairman - Martin announced his successor at the AGM much to Stoo's surprise. He writes: "Ruthers" was, to say the least, larger than life, you would hear him before you saw him. A booming voice, not unlike Brian Blessed, often heard for several hundred yards, that he exercised with The Ealing Players, would often captivate the whole carrtage or pub. Martin loved his music, and who could forget a rather loud rendition of "What do you wanna make those eyes at me for?" on the top deck of a bus in Burnley. Martin moved his family to Australia in the summer of 1985, but not before he got us tickets for "Live Aid," but was a very proud Englishman, and he let the Aussies know it whenever the national teams went on tour. He couldn't wait to get back here, and turned up in plaster for one of our do's. Unfortunately, we ended up in A & E, but he was so pleased to be here for the event |
