A message from the Chairman:Members are reminded that while they are travelling, at the match, on the way, especially on the train, or even in the pub home or away they are seen to be representing both Wolves and London Wolves at all times, and are expected to behave appropriately. Complaints have been made about bad language on the train in front of other passengers. London Wolves support the Club’s campaign to cut out bad language in the family areas and expect that to be respected and will take action under rule 5 if it is not.

Last year: a stroll around Rotherhithe

our special thoughts are with long time London Wolf and former WWLSC player Simon Ivermee who left Stoke Mandeville. 5 April hoping to see you at Molineux soon

Here as best man to Robin with SJH and Dave Jones

Gordon

We were sad to hear from Gordon Shead's daughter Hels that he passed away on 13th November 2022.   A long time stalwart of the club - always cheerful he brightened everyone's life and will be sorely missed

Sadly, too Steve Roe has also passed away,  Steve ran the London Wolves Football Team and helped with the Newsletter in the 70sSteve is pictured with the 77 squad (bottom left)

Stuart also heard that founder member Sid Green had died after being hit by a car in Bangkok.  Pictured here in the North Bank in 1968

Jeff Beck Obituary (Hi Ho Wolverhampton, which he hated)

Simon best man at Robin's wedding and at our 2021 AGM

Simon Ivermee RIP

Simon, of High Wycombe, sadly passed away on May 23rd  2023 after a long battle with illness. He had been treated at Stoke Mandeville but his condition worsened in the last week.

The nearest London Underground tube station to the Emirates Stadium is Holloway Road on the Piccadilly line, which is only a few minutes walk from the stadium. This station is closed after matches. Arsenal and Finsbury Park stations (Piccadilly Line) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line) are also within walking distance.

You can also catch a main line train from Kings Cross to Finsbury Park, which is a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium. Drayton Park Station, which is situated right by the stadium is shut prior to weekend matches and after all matches due to safety concerns of hosting fans on the station's narrow island platform.
