WOLVES WOMEN AT THE EBB 16thH JANUARY 2024 11 years after their WFA Cup expedition South of the Thames (v Millwall) when we were first able to turn out to support them, Wolves Women again venture into our territory - then it was to Stef Leonard's home but this time the venue is Robert Goddard's Aldershot at what used to be the Recreation Ground (now the EBB) There's no real parking apart from concessions at the ground but there is a council car park next door (Parson's Barracks off Ordnance Road, Aldershot. GU11 1TW for £1 on Sunday) Other car parks are less than 5-10 minutes away, and Aldershot Railway Station (direct from Waterloo) is just a short walk away. Trains are via Guildford (because of work between Woking and Aldershot) departing Waterloo on the hour or 29 minutes past taking 90 or 76 minutes There are plenty of pubs too, the Wetherspoons (Queen's Hotel) being just over 10 minutes walk. The popular Crimea pub is just a one minute stagger to the ground. Tickets are £10/£5 and only available on the gate. Jenny Wilkes and we are hoping for a great WWLSC and local Wolves fans turnout https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/womens-first-team/20240103-details-confirmed-for-fa-cup-tie-at-reading/ |

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT EUSTON on the travel page here A message from the Chairman:Members are reminded that while they are travelling, at the match, on the way, especially on the train, or even in the pub home or away they are seen to be representing both Wolves and London Wolves at all times, and are expected to behave appropriately. Complaints have been made about bad language on the train in front of other passengers. London Wolves support the Club’s campaign to cut out bad language in the family areas and expect that to be respected and will take action under rule 5 if it is not. |
